SPRING 2009

History

Nestled in the heart of the eastern foothills of the Cascade Mountains, 2,222 feet above sea level, lies the town of Roslyn, Washington.  Founded with the discovery of coal in conjunction with the Northern Pacific Railroad in 1886, the town’s original population was due almost entirely to the coal industry.
