Fall City 2013 – River: Bridges

SPRING 2013

River: Bridges

RIVER_bridges72dpi

The first bridge over Snoqualmie River in Fall City was a wooden footbridge built in 1889. In 1915, the bridge was replaced by a concrete arch bridge to accommodate automobile crossings. The current SR 202 bridge was built in 1951.

For easy pedestrian access across Snoqualmie River, a pedestrian footbridge has been proposed. The proposal was designed by the late Carroll Vogel of Sahale Bridge Builders.
